Eurozone Crisis
Do you have any idea what’s happening in Europe? Yes, they’re in economic turmoil, but why?
Well, because I’m absolutely horrible at economics, I won’t attempt to write a handy-dandy guide for you. I find myself nodding off or reading the same line over and over again when talking about economic things (seriously — what the heck are these percentages, and what do you mean, inflation?)
However, this Council on Foreign Relations guide to the debt crisis is AMAZING. (If you haven’t heard my opinion on CFR Backgrounders, it is this: I love them.) I highly recommend checking out this if you want to understand why Europe is freaking out.
